STS Reading Club🤍📖

“Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be”

I am Tsering Choedon from Sts Bylakuppe school and I am currently studying in class 10. Our school have a club called Reading club and I am a leading member of the club. Reading club has 5 members in total and all the member works hard everyday at school to inspire other students to read books. For me reading books helps me to travel into another universe where I can grow and help people. Our club is active from march 2023 to till now a days.

We do our best to make our school student a good reader. We all read well during lunch break time. We let good readers into net so that other students who don’t read can also be inspired from their student. We bought net through online shopping.

 

I feel proud to say that our school has many good readers and they are very creative😊.

🤍📖

Our club do one Tibetan and English book review every week. Tibetan book review is done on Tuesday  and English book review on Saturday. We buy many books on the basis of what students prefer to read more and we also ask for book donation so that it can save our expenses. Not only book reviews we also do book exhibitions(book poster and writing the book review beautifully on charts).

We record the names of students who reads reading club books and also thank them when they return the books. Our books are widely read in school so some books are about to tear up, then we decided to cover all the books and we covered the books by transparent cover. We gathered at Sunday and covered all books😁.

There were so many books and it was so hard to cover all the books but we didn’t give up because it was for all the students and they read very well.

 I am such a lucky person to have a great opportunity like this where I help so many people to build there life as a great reader. Sometimes I see this as blessings from god so I am grateful and proud of myself for doing these things at my school💕
